Enjoying Little things while waiting for Christmas

Christmas is almost near and I can even smell it....hahahaha.... :)

If ever you still don't have a gift for someone, especially to a girl whether it's your girlfriend, friend, niece, daughter, or grand daughter--I have here an example of a simple gift that I know every girl would appreciate.

Accessories are not expensive but really enhances your fashion statement. It adds colors and charm.

Although, it's not the popular way of giving gifts but I'm sure it's gonna be worth it.

Like what they say, "It's the thought that's count and not how expensive it is"......Well, I hope it is still working because I must admit these days kids, siblings or even parents will gonna love to have gadgets. But if you need to cut your budget at least you tried to make an effort for your loved one.

Accessories there is....

Sandals, shoes or sleepers?
For me anything is okay.
I have here a combination of sleepers and sandals, you can wear it in the mall, park or even on the beach and you're looking so fashionista. Absolutely, you can have a Picture Perfect moment as you strike a pose.

Always walk with a cute footwear to attract good vibes, just think about it as an inspiration to achieve your goal. Little stuff bigger dreams equals happiness. Okay? Okay!

:) Have a happy Christmas and Fashionable New Year!

Fruit Cocktail Salad with Graham Crackers for Christmas

Want to have Yummy-licious day or just Picture Perfect moments?

If your answer is yes, this is the perfect place or the perfect web to be..............

Since it's been almost three weeks before Christmas, it is just right to practice and prepare some menu or dish or any food that can be serve this holiday. First of all, one of my favorite is really salad--it could be macaroni or fruit salad as long as it's sweet then I'm good at it (yes, I have sweet tooth). Last weekend, my sister and I made a fruit salad with a twist because we put some grahams on it. It was a successful and really refreshing because after so many years it was the first time we made something like it. It's delicious!

We actually made two batches of fruit salads, the first one is just a fruit cocktail and the other one is with graham crackers. We did it on purposed because we wanted to have an option since it was really the first time.

So, here's the step by step procedure and the ingredients we used. :)

When making a fruit salad you have two option, it's either you will used the fresh fruits (you will pear it, chopped it and you will sliced it) or you can use the one in can that you can buy in any grocery store to make your life a bit easier. Either way it will work.

And since we want to make it fast we used the one in can. And you see the red and white ingredients there? That's kaong (It is a tropical fruit that comes from the sugar palm tree), in many Filipino deserts kaong is actually one of the main star. Kaong is smooth, soft and slippery. And what I like about this ingredient is that the sweetness is just right.

Then after putting all the fruits, we added the condensed milk and the cream to add some sweetness and consistency to the flavors.

An over-flowing goodness that everybody can't wait to taste. Of course, after putting all the ingredients we will mix it all together. So, all the fruits can have the right portion of the milk and cream.

While we are almost done with Salad fruit cocktail, we are going to prepare now the graham.

And then, on top of graham crackers we will put the fruit salad.
I'm sure the graham will absorb all the goodness in our fruit salad and we will about to taste that later.

So, we have graham crackers on the bottom then we put some fruit salad on top of it. We will actually gonna do it twice--it's like graham + fruit salad + graham + fruit salad = Graham Fruit Cocktail.

Well, this is it!

When it's done we can put it in a fridge before serve.

And here it is after we placed it in a fridge. Chilled and ready for  tasting.

And here's our Fruit Cocktail that we made earlier also came from a fridge and ready to be tasted. By the way, I didn't mentioned earlier that we put some coconut strips on it but you can see it here. It's more delicious for sure. Yummy!

So, we have here two kind of salad with almost the same ingredients. Both are delicious, very flavorful and very inviting to see and taste.

Why don't you make some? Especially, holiday season is almost here it is really good if you and your loved one will enjoy some sweet treats. I truly believed that these desserts are going to be the star of your celebration because the whole family can enjoy it.

Anyway folks, that's about it for now and thanks for stopping by...until next time...:)

Christmas is in the Air!

Another great season for everyone!

Yes indeed, Christmas is really something we always look forward to...it's the birth of Jesus Christ who saved us all. We share and we give to those people we loved and to those less fortunate. If we have the capacity to do it, this is the right time to do it. Besides it's really the spirit of Christmas after all and speaking of Christmas--I wanna share some spot that really showed the kind of celebration here in the Philippines.

You know Christmas trees, Christmas lanterns, Christmas lights or any Christmas decorations? Here in the Philippines you can find it anywhere not only at homes; like the streets, parks, malls, highways, restaurants and so many more. Celebrating Christmas will truly gonna give us joy and happiness. Even if the entire Philippines had suffer in different calamities and trauma still it is advisable to celebrate. It's going to be like the symbol of moving on and accepting God's grace. Everyone of us not only in the Philippines but the entire world has this strong heart that when someone gets hurt each and everyone of us help-out and really shows concern.

This Christmas is gonna be amazing for sure! I truly believe that this season will be great and abundance. I know someone out there in this world, my love will really enjoy the moment of this special day.

And before I forgot, here are some photos I managed to captured when we went out last weekend and also earlier.

I found this decor in a store and I thought it was cute and really perfect for Christmas.

And here's a peacock street lights...really cute and colorful...

This one was a butterfly very artistic light and good for Picture Perfect moment especially if you love butterflies.

If there were peacock and butterfly, there was a fish. Awesome! Under the sea Christmas wasn't bad at all.

And the star of many Christmas decorations--the Christmas tree, one of my favorite. My sister and nephew managed to pose because they also liked the place very much.

And of course, here's my niece posing under the giant Christmas tree.

Holidays really gives an amazing joyful feeling to everyone. That's why I am still looking forward to what's gonna happen to the next days as the countdown continues for Christmas.

For sure, more places will turn their lights on and more people will celebrate.

I am truly excited to share great stuff on how we will gonna celebrate Christmas, so guys just be sure to watch out for that and let's all celebrate, be happy and be thankful for every grace we receive.

And to wrap this thing up, here's a cute and quick video of a beautiful Christmas lights surrounding a place to hang-out. And because I said it'was quick--I mean it literally. lol

Until next time folks, have a great day! Ho ho hooo!!!!

The Healthy and the Not so Healthy

Hello Again!

It's nice to be back because I can share again some stuff or something that made my day a little bit Picture Perfect and extra special.

The long wait is over!

Lately, I am actually trying to convince myself to continue my diet in my own little way. Well, I'm not saying that living healthy is not in my blood but sometimes, I do fail when it comes to devoting myself in doing exercises everyday or not cheating in what I eat--oh jeez...I love sweet!

But forget about that for now! :)

These past few days, I'm just being lazy in cooking so, instead of using the stove I tried the oven most of my valued time in the kitchen. Don't blame me because every time I fry something it always explode with the oil, not so much just a little bit. And using the oven is making my life way easier.

Not to mention my favorite is actually bread and butter plus cheese. I just love my food hot, crispy in the outside and yummier inside. Nom nom nom! It's the simplest thing that could make me happy the whole day.

And of course, Pizza too!
I love Italian food and I mean it's pizza. This one is the thin crust pizza available in any restaurant. If you are a health conscious like me, you don't need to drown yourself by eating the whole box of pizza. One slice will make you survive from starving but enjoying life at the same time. No pressure just add a hot sauce!

And speaking of healthy!
Tan tananan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here comes the salad! My sister and I made it. I bet this is the real Picture Perfect, perfectly healthy and perfectly delicious!

What's good about veggie salad is that you can use anything you want and there's no really limitation--it only means no limitations for being healthy!

You can throw some tomatoes, cucumber, some lettuce or any green leafy veggies, onions and even some fresh seaweeds or anything you like as long as you can eat it raw. And of course, don't forget to put some salt, pepper and salad dressing to make one great dish that you'll gonna love.

No wonder why "Caesar Salad" is famous! Lol
Anyway, with this kind of salad you can add steamed chicken or salmon, I bet it's perfect and yummy!

At this point, we already reach the line of healthy and not so healthy food. So. it's really up to us if we can maintain our figure and do the right thing or just eat what we want.

We always have a choice. For me, we can eat anything as long as we knew--what is moderation?

Remember the tagline, "Drink moderately"?

Mine is "Eat moderately", especially if your metabolism is not really good or very slow.

Once again folks, I reach the end of the line I mean the end of my paper word pad--just kidding but I need to go now and thank you for visiting my blog. Sorry, if it takes me too long before I write another one--I'm just addicted to FB...joke!

Let's just say, I'm just thinking too much these days while looking from a far and I'm doing that for so many hours then the moment I came back to reality it's already evening so I need to sleep! It's a long story!

Anyway, see you again next time! :)

Heart of Gold in A midst of Disaster

My own feelings!

These past few weeks, Philippines experienced so many tragedies, calamities and disaster. From rebellions of some anti-government parties to Earth-quake to super typhoon--it happened one after another. It's very heart-breaking, especially if you can see it everyday on TV and when you turned your eyes on newspaper it's also there and you can't change anything about it. But actually, it's not about changing things but doing something when things happened. In a midst of hunger and distraction there are good people that rises and help and show that they care. You can see humanitarian, you can see heroes, you can witness real people with a heart and most of all you can hear Prayers--the most important thing ever.

Yes, there maybe some bad stuff but there are also some good stuff happened--the Philippines won several pageants, boxing and recognition from all over the world. And it became the inspiration of most people here. I know it's never enough to ease the pain of the families who lost their loved-ones but things really happened for a reason. Only God knows why those things happened and for those people that affected the only thing they can do is to accept it and move on because life goes on as long as you live--as long as we are alive.

I am thankful to God that my whole family is okay. But there are things that's making me feel sad and lonely too. And for that matter, I can say I can feel what they feel and I'm hoping that they can have all the help that they needed--sympathized, assurance and even material things like relief goods and money to have something to start with. I know we have a strong will, a strong heart and strong faith--surely we can get through this. Honestly, when I look back I realized my problem is so small to compare to the problems of those people who suffered from different tragedies I mentioned earlier. My heart and my prayers goes to them and to those need it more. And for my personal dilemmas, I also want to pray for it because I know God knows what to do about it.

I still have hopes and faith no matter what---sometimes when things are over you will realized all the lessons you learned from it. I realized, life is beautiful---it can be surprising in a good or bad way but there's always rainbow after the rain and Picture Perfect moments after all... :)

I took this photo only this year, it's my hometown and this is my personal favorite. I can say that this photo sealed my love of photography.

It shows nature with peace, calm, contentment and love! And it's the exact things what those people need or what we all need.

There so much thing to say and there so much thing to do but we don't need to be careless or too emotional. We only need to act some kindness for others if we can and I'm sure we can...right?

And it's time again folks, thanks for stopping by and until next time! Happy -Ber months to everyone!

Liz is here saying, "I miss you and I love you, wherever you are I hope you're safe and happy. You chose to left and I respect that even if I'm hurting, but forgive me because I will still wait for you and believe that you'll gonna comeback for me---someday!".

Halloween can be Fun!

Hello everyone! This past week had been very intense and emotional for me. My dog George is still sick and the other dogs--Hachico, Spike and Perez are sick too but I believe they are getting well everyday with our proper love and care that we are giving to them. I'm just thankful with God, that's all I can say and now it's another story!

Halloween twinkle Fairy!
All souls day and all saints day might be over but still I wanna show you the other side of what's making me happy despite of what happened and the circumstances we have faced!

The following Picture Perfect moments belong to my pretty and lovable niece Angie, there's no doubt she can bring back the happiness and smile on everyone's face no matter what happen! So, here you go!

It's been a month since my sister bought the butterfly costume and good thing it matches her pumpkin and dress. And when we got to the mall it also matches the backdrop castle, what a co-incidence--or should I say a "luck". :)

She played as a Violet Butterfly Little Fairy, really cute right?

Everyone was busy especially the parents and the guardian fixing their kids costumes for the event. Well, Angie was well-prepared at that moment so no need to do the fixing.

The only thing she did was to make a pose and pose and pose--"happiness overload"--I must say!

We also went to the little arcade for kids and instead of playing, she chose to make a pose for a picture. Lovely, future model or future Miss Universe? Hmm, I think it could be both if she wanted to in the future.

So, when we got tired of walking and checking some costumes in the event, we decided to sit down in the food court to get some drink or maybe food.

And of course, I decided to ask my niece to make some posing for me then I took shots of her--I mean I took lots of photos of her.

This one is model-like slash thinking or maybe headache...lol...:)

This one is more of listening into something and not believing of what she is hearing...hmm, maybe!

This one is like kissing the GSP, I will explain why and what is GSP means.

My niece is one of the Girl Scout and she love doing the three finger because it's GSP sign and I taught her the kiss gesture. So, there you go--"kissing the GSP pose".

And of course, the most popular among any poses--"the flying kiss". Don't think grin because she's only 6 years old. I just taught her that for a picture purposes only and also she need to learn those because she dreamed to be an actress someday. Actually, she's a quick learner and I'm so proud of her.

I called this one as a "Halloween peace sign", because she's doing the peace sign and at the same time she looked scared or frightened...Hahaha!

This one is the normal fairy pose but I think being a fairy is not normal in a real world. Nah, this is just a dress up anyway and definitely she looks cute and cuddly.

 And very much adorable...

Honestly, she's giving me a great joy even if she's very talkative most of the time and very annoying too!

She loves playing in every pose and we don't give any pressure to her because she's still a kid and need to play as a kid. I personally want her to enjoy her childhood and if the time comes and she's ready to face the world, I think it will come in a right time when she grow up.

For now, enjoying every little thing is a must. Sometimes she say she want to grow fast to do every thing she wants like modeling, acting, singing, dancing and to become Miss Universe. And we told her,"One step at a time". For now; study hard, take time to play, eat well and enjoy Picture Perfect moments.

Like this one, she's a natural charmer and a cutie-pie to this picture.

I told her to pose as if she's scared without the teeth and she gave me this one.
Did I say without a teeth? Hehe!
Well, because she is in a process of being a toothless but not cute-less!

Did she looks like scared or she wanna jump off the chair? Or maybe she ate sour cream, I don't know!

Or maybe she's thinking about lime juice...:)

Still she's very cute on this one!

And this one too! Very cute and very pretty little butterfly fairy!

The little fairy wants to rest?

Or maybe, she wants to sleep?

Go on Little Butterfly Fairy, thank you for making my Halloween a little extra special and very much happy.

Hey folks! Wish you had a great Halloween in your town and country.
Let's pray for those souls and let's celebrate our life on Earth!

Liz here saying, "Happy Halloween and we should be happy in everything"!

My Little George: Be Strong!

I'm in a middle of heartbreak--from losing hope but not losing my faith...
These past few days until now, I'm having this issue about my dog George. He is very ill, he's not eating and it's like in any moment he will gonna leave this world. But I still wish it will not gonna happen because it's gonna be a heartbreaking for everyone. I wanna believe that he will gonna survive and I'm still praying for his recovery. Honestly, I need a miracle this time from God!

I have so many speculation why he is in danger. Maybe someone poisoned him or maybe a virus or bacteria ruled his body or I don't really know! But what I know is I want him to be okay. My sister brought him already to the bet and they already gave him some vaccines and medicines. And my sister already giving him an injection for anti-bacteria or something and he need to take it for 7 days but I'm still worried because he don't have an appetite for food but at least he drink water once in a while. Still I don't get it. I want him to be normal again like before--he is very quick, he loves to jump, he is the fastest when it comes to eating their food, he loves pointing his nose in my skin, he is just so sweet. He loves looking at me (eye to eye) and when he does that even now that he is sick it really breaks my heart because I can't do anything for him. I don't know how to save him, I don't know if what we are doing is enough to make him feel better.

George situation is similar to my childhood story when I still had a dog named Kiko. He died in a strange circumstances but I don't want it to be the same with George. I don't want history to repeat itself. It so unfair and it's not right! I know George is hurting everyday, I want it to stop but I don't want him to die. It's really hard to cope, especially, if you already love your dog. And every time I'm looking back to those memories that I am playing with my dog George, it always brought me to tears as well as I'm writing this...I know, I'm not supposed to cry because he's still there but I know he is in pain. I can see it in his eyes, he don't need to make any sound because in just one look--I already knew!

Right now, I just want to look at his Picture Perfect caption when he was still a little puppy. He is just adorable!

This face can really melt your stone heart--I have to say. He loves it when you put your hand on his head and just caress him. You will just smile as he close his ocean eyes and you'll gonna hug him for sure.

These are my 3 little angels. The New Addition to the family. And I want them to be there as long as they can because we are just starting to have fun as they grow up. They are my 3 Musketeers! So, George you should win this battle! Please, be strong my little George! Be strong and be okay!

As you can see, he is so behave and loves to sleep too! He can sleep anywhere and any time of the day but it's okay because I also love taking pictures of him!

Awww! So cute!

And of course, he loves cleaning his self! Or maybe he is just scratching the itchy part of his body by his teeth--YOU KNOW!

These four amazing dog and puppies are just awesome and love to play with each others. They may be different breeds but it doesn't matter because they love each other!

And I love George so much!

Folks, please help me to pray for his quick recovery! He is something that I couldn't afford to lose, yes he is a dog but he is still important and I want to still hug him and see him on my side. I still want to feed him on my hand (palm). And I still wanna see him play with other dogs and I still wanna touch his face everyday!

Guys, thanks for visiting my blog! It really means a lot to me! You know, sometimes I'm having issues and I can't write articles everyday for you and for my self but no matter what happen I will try to keep everything flow and share things that I know some people can relate or can learn from me and my experiences.

The sadness that I feel is really hard for me but I know things will gonna be just fine, I will just cross my fingers to that-----Liz is here saying, "I love George, I love Perez, I love Spike and I love Hachico.
