The Healthy and the Not so Healthy

Hello Again!

It's nice to be back because I can share again some stuff or something that made my day a little bit Picture Perfect and extra special.

The long wait is over!

Lately, I am actually trying to convince myself to continue my diet in my own little way. Well, I'm not saying that living healthy is not in my blood but sometimes, I do fail when it comes to devoting myself in doing exercises everyday or not cheating in what I eat--oh jeez...I love sweet!

But forget about that for now! :)

These past few days, I'm just being lazy in cooking so, instead of using the stove I tried the oven most of my valued time in the kitchen. Don't blame me because every time I fry something it always explode with the oil, not so much just a little bit. And using the oven is making my life way easier.

Not to mention my favorite is actually bread and butter plus cheese. I just love my food hot, crispy in the outside and yummier inside. Nom nom nom! It's the simplest thing that could make me happy the whole day.

And of course, Pizza too!
I love Italian food and I mean it's pizza. This one is the thin crust pizza available in any restaurant. If you are a health conscious like me, you don't need to drown yourself by eating the whole box of pizza. One slice will make you survive from starving but enjoying life at the same time. No pressure just add a hot sauce!

And speaking of healthy!
Tan tananan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here comes the salad! My sister and I made it. I bet this is the real Picture Perfect, perfectly healthy and perfectly delicious!

What's good about veggie salad is that you can use anything you want and there's no really limitation--it only means no limitations for being healthy!

You can throw some tomatoes, cucumber, some lettuce or any green leafy veggies, onions and even some fresh seaweeds or anything you like as long as you can eat it raw. And of course, don't forget to put some salt, pepper and salad dressing to make one great dish that you'll gonna love.

No wonder why "Caesar Salad" is famous! Lol
Anyway, with this kind of salad you can add steamed chicken or salmon, I bet it's perfect and yummy!

At this point, we already reach the line of healthy and not so healthy food. So. it's really up to us if we can maintain our figure and do the right thing or just eat what we want.

We always have a choice. For me, we can eat anything as long as we knew--what is moderation?

Remember the tagline, "Drink moderately"?

Mine is "Eat moderately", especially if your metabolism is not really good or very slow.

Once again folks, I reach the end of the line I mean the end of my paper word pad--just kidding but I need to go now and thank you for visiting my blog. Sorry, if it takes me too long before I write another one--I'm just addicted to FB...joke!

Let's just say, I'm just thinking too much these days while looking from a far and I'm doing that for so many hours then the moment I came back to reality it's already evening so I need to sleep! It's a long story!

Anyway, see you again next time! :)

Heart of Gold in A midst of Disaster

My own feelings!

These past few weeks, Philippines experienced so many tragedies, calamities and disaster. From rebellions of some anti-government parties to Earth-quake to super typhoon--it happened one after another. It's very heart-breaking, especially if you can see it everyday on TV and when you turned your eyes on newspaper it's also there and you can't change anything about it. But actually, it's not about changing things but doing something when things happened. In a midst of hunger and distraction there are good people that rises and help and show that they care. You can see humanitarian, you can see heroes, you can witness real people with a heart and most of all you can hear Prayers--the most important thing ever.

Yes, there maybe some bad stuff but there are also some good stuff happened--the Philippines won several pageants, boxing and recognition from all over the world. And it became the inspiration of most people here. I know it's never enough to ease the pain of the families who lost their loved-ones but things really happened for a reason. Only God knows why those things happened and for those people that affected the only thing they can do is to accept it and move on because life goes on as long as you live--as long as we are alive.

I am thankful to God that my whole family is okay. But there are things that's making me feel sad and lonely too. And for that matter, I can say I can feel what they feel and I'm hoping that they can have all the help that they needed--sympathized, assurance and even material things like relief goods and money to have something to start with. I know we have a strong will, a strong heart and strong faith--surely we can get through this. Honestly, when I look back I realized my problem is so small to compare to the problems of those people who suffered from different tragedies I mentioned earlier. My heart and my prayers goes to them and to those need it more. And for my personal dilemmas, I also want to pray for it because I know God knows what to do about it.

I still have hopes and faith no matter what---sometimes when things are over you will realized all the lessons you learned from it. I realized, life is beautiful---it can be surprising in a good or bad way but there's always rainbow after the rain and Picture Perfect moments after all... :)

I took this photo only this year, it's my hometown and this is my personal favorite. I can say that this photo sealed my love of photography.

It shows nature with peace, calm, contentment and love! And it's the exact things what those people need or what we all need.

There so much thing to say and there so much thing to do but we don't need to be careless or too emotional. We only need to act some kindness for others if we can and I'm sure we can...right?

And it's time again folks, thanks for stopping by and until next time! Happy -Ber months to everyone!

Liz is here saying, "I miss you and I love you, wherever you are I hope you're safe and happy. You chose to left and I respect that even if I'm hurting, but forgive me because I will still wait for you and believe that you'll gonna comeback for me---someday!".

Halloween can be Fun!

Hello everyone! This past week had been very intense and emotional for me. My dog George is still sick and the other dogs--Hachico, Spike and Perez are sick too but I believe they are getting well everyday with our proper love and care that we are giving to them. I'm just thankful with God, that's all I can say and now it's another story!

Halloween twinkle Fairy!
All souls day and all saints day might be over but still I wanna show you the other side of what's making me happy despite of what happened and the circumstances we have faced!

The following Picture Perfect moments belong to my pretty and lovable niece Angie, there's no doubt she can bring back the happiness and smile on everyone's face no matter what happen! So, here you go!

It's been a month since my sister bought the butterfly costume and good thing it matches her pumpkin and dress. And when we got to the mall it also matches the backdrop castle, what a co-incidence--or should I say a "luck". :)

She played as a Violet Butterfly Little Fairy, really cute right?

Everyone was busy especially the parents and the guardian fixing their kids costumes for the event. Well, Angie was well-prepared at that moment so no need to do the fixing.

The only thing she did was to make a pose and pose and pose--"happiness overload"--I must say!

We also went to the little arcade for kids and instead of playing, she chose to make a pose for a picture. Lovely, future model or future Miss Universe? Hmm, I think it could be both if she wanted to in the future.

So, when we got tired of walking and checking some costumes in the event, we decided to sit down in the food court to get some drink or maybe food.

And of course, I decided to ask my niece to make some posing for me then I took shots of her--I mean I took lots of photos of her.

This one is model-like slash thinking or maybe headache...lol...:)

This one is more of listening into something and not believing of what she is hearing...hmm, maybe!

This one is like kissing the GSP, I will explain why and what is GSP means.

My niece is one of the Girl Scout and she love doing the three finger because it's GSP sign and I taught her the kiss gesture. So, there you go--"kissing the GSP pose".

And of course, the most popular among any poses--"the flying kiss". Don't think grin because she's only 6 years old. I just taught her that for a picture purposes only and also she need to learn those because she dreamed to be an actress someday. Actually, she's a quick learner and I'm so proud of her.

I called this one as a "Halloween peace sign", because she's doing the peace sign and at the same time she looked scared or frightened...Hahaha!

This one is the normal fairy pose but I think being a fairy is not normal in a real world. Nah, this is just a dress up anyway and definitely she looks cute and cuddly.

 And very much adorable...

Honestly, she's giving me a great joy even if she's very talkative most of the time and very annoying too!

She loves playing in every pose and we don't give any pressure to her because she's still a kid and need to play as a kid. I personally want her to enjoy her childhood and if the time comes and she's ready to face the world, I think it will come in a right time when she grow up.

For now, enjoying every little thing is a must. Sometimes she say she want to grow fast to do every thing she wants like modeling, acting, singing, dancing and to become Miss Universe. And we told her,"One step at a time". For now; study hard, take time to play, eat well and enjoy Picture Perfect moments.

Like this one, she's a natural charmer and a cutie-pie to this picture.

I told her to pose as if she's scared without the teeth and she gave me this one.
Did I say without a teeth? Hehe!
Well, because she is in a process of being a toothless but not cute-less!

Did she looks like scared or she wanna jump off the chair? Or maybe she ate sour cream, I don't know!

Or maybe she's thinking about lime juice...:)

Still she's very cute on this one!

And this one too! Very cute and very pretty little butterfly fairy!

The little fairy wants to rest?

Or maybe, she wants to sleep?

Go on Little Butterfly Fairy, thank you for making my Halloween a little extra special and very much happy.

Hey folks! Wish you had a great Halloween in your town and country.
Let's pray for those souls and let's celebrate our life on Earth!

Liz here saying, "Happy Halloween and we should be happy in everything"!
