As I witness Christmas 2015

This is my Christmas 2015...

My whole year has been amazing  and so as my Christmas season. I went to Antipolo Church  because it's  been a long time since the last time I visited my favorite place. I used to be here more often before but my schedule  changed  a little because of some circumstances.  Although, my faith to God remains the same - I always love Him and I know He is always there for me, my family, loved ones and friends.

Since, it's  Christmas  season they put up a traditional giant Christmas  tree in the plaza /park so, that  people can really feel and enjoy Christmas  with other people. The plaza is just in front of the Antipolo Church and you'll  going to notice a lot of people stayed in some bench after the mass at the church.

Here's  another  caption I made from a far.

On the other side in a mall I used to go to here in Manila I saw Olaf display in a middle of a hallway. Olaf is one of the character in the movie Frozen. I saw lots  of  people  and children  taking their pictures in that exact spot and when they left I took my chances to take a picture too.

In another corner they put a slay and gifts which was cute and very Christmas  feeling although,  they forgot to bring Santa Claus,  well maybe next time!

At the house, we also put up a Christmas tree just like last year. I have to admit that it's  been  a tradition  already and we truly love it. Christmas  is my favorite because of an awesome  feeling I feel every time  Christmas  is coming. I feel new hope, greater happiness and so much love from my surroundings and the moment is just uplifting and inspirational. Well, you know what I mean for sure... :)

And then, one time I was walking inside the mall and I saw a donut that screaming  Christmas and I was thinking  hey, I love those super colorful  and cute. It really inspired me in a sense that I realized everyone  in this world is as happy and excited as I am for the holiday. Which is really fun to think about, right?

That's  my gift  for my niece and nephew.  I didn't  wrapped a lot of gifts this year unlike last year but I know they will understand  that Christmas  is not always about giving material  things for our loved ones. Because remembering  them and reminding  them that we care about them is enough already. But I will gonna try so much better next year

Of course,  here's  the gift of my sister for me - a perfume which is lovely  and super gorgeous!  I can't wait to  use it everyday!

And here's  my family picture taken last June- my mom and dad, my sister and her kids, my fiancé  and me wishing everyone an amazing holiday for everybody!

I might  be far away from my fiancé  because he is living in USA but we always make sure we talk every day and try to make each other feel our love as much as possible.  He is the kindest,  most generous, loving and sweetest  man in the world. He never forget about me and my needs and he knows how to make me laugh so that I will feel better. The only thing that separates me from him is the distance between  us but I know in God's  perfect  time, I will be with him.

Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad,  Maligayang Pasko to all of you folks!

Lola Corazon Leisure Farm and Paradise Ranch

A travel that I never forget!

Yesterday was all busy and tiring day for me and Maan because we visited Paradise Ranch and Lola Corazon Leisure Farm for her fieldtrip in school. It felt like I've  never been  so tired in my whole life but only because of all the activities  yesterday, now I'm  feeling  so tired with aching body but I already had my massage this afternoon. Honestly, I might be feeling a bit bad right now but I can say it's  all worth it because me and Maan had too much fun.

So, here's  how it happened...

The traveling hours from Manila to Pampanga is approximately  3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. So, we decided to eat some snacks while feeling so excited to see the place, since I've  never been to Pampanga (the culinary  capital of the Philippines). At first,  I never knew what to expect but I was thinking  I'm  going to  just go with the flow and have fun.

The first stopped was the Paradise  Ranch, we got the chance to watch some aetas danced their native dance. Although, I don't  have their pic or videos I learned  a lot from them. Aeta or Ita was the first tribe  that actually lived  in the Philippines,  until now most of them stays in the mountains  and continue  the way they live hundreds  years ago. They hunt animals to eat and they don't  have good education  but some of them like the aetas we met, they want to share their culture with other people and learn new things and knowledge  that will help them grow. They have different  dance like frog dance, mosquito  dance, hunt dance, and so much more. ..

Another activity  was tree planting.

Maan's teacher adviser helped her in planting this small tree and hopefully  it will grow and bloom after some times. This kind of activity  helps the new generations of students to learn what's  the important of planting a tree especially that it plays a big role in preventing soil erosion, flood and having a clean air.

Then we left the place before lunch time. And we headed to Lola Corazon,  leisure farm where we ate lunch and continued  our day.

This beautiful  swimming  pool  was the first attraction we saw when we got inside the farm and from the moment I saw this view, I was in awe and I felt like I want to stay here as much as I can. It didn't  happen though...

But me and Maan had a chance to sit there for a while and rest a little  bit longer  before we headed and joined some activities they're  offering on the other side of the farm.

There's  no doubt I'm  a big fan of nature and photography, I believed  that you don't  need an expensive  camera to shoot because the beauty of your surroundings will show in any angle if you love capturing the moment.

I was sitting  there and feeling the breeze on my skin while the sun was trying to get through the shadow of those coconut and palm trees but I don't  mind because that very moment my mind was trying to bring me somewhere  else in this world.

Until they called us because we need to proceed on the other side of the farm... "Okay, you see I'm relaxing and thinking about my fiancé right now?!" I almost yelled at them but yea I know I was not there for vacation.

Anyway, some of the attractions are the hanging bridge,  amusement park, fish  pond, zipline and they have nippa huts so you can relax whenever you feel tired.

I asked Maan to pose because underneath  that big nippa hut was the fish pond. And you can even feed them while gazing on their cuteness.

In here, she was trying to throw some fish feeds and she looked so excited.

Then she tried to ride in a swing.... and played  so many games....

And last but not the least,  we tried the hanging bridge.  It was a bit challenging to cross especially when the wind blows because you can feel the bridge move. But we nailed it.

And you can see the before and after pictures too with the view of both ends.

And this amazing view.

Thank you folks  for stopping by and see you again next time.

Also, I wanna thank God for making us safe on our field trip last November 13. At the same time I'm  sending prayers to those who lost their loved ones in Paris and of the whole world.

We can live life to the fullest and share it with others, that's  why everyday I'm  wishing if only we can live in true peace for sure life will be so much happier!

Peace everyone!

Halloween 2015 (Pink Princess)

This could be a late post but you know what they  say, "it's  better late than  sorry".

So, as the annual Halloween  costume party happened in every corner of the malls and events all over the country and of the world last October  30, 31 and November  1, I'm  here to share my niece costume that she wore this year.

If last year she was a purple fairy, this year she became the princess in a fairy tale  but no prince charming since she's  still a kid. And I can tell she's so happy  every time  she got to join a costume party although  not for long until she notice  some creepy  and scary costume that other kids got to wear. She almost cried  when she saw zombies,  mummies and a priest  with no head costume.  But it's  fine and she's  okay.... Although , maybe next year  she's  not gonna join the costume party. Seems like our baby is becoming a lady now, well we will see anyway what's  gonna happen. But for now, here are some cute shots of Maan in a princess costume.

Mini House made of Popsicle Sticks

Happy  Halloween  everyone!  October  has been such a great month full of fun and happiness and quite busy too. But I wanna dedicate  this entry for a mini house made from popsicle  stick. It's  actually  the highlight  of my October  because I'd been so busy making this one and it took me 3 days and a half to finished. First time in making a small project for my nephew and honestly,  I'd wish I knew how to make one but along the way I be able to pull it off...

It started like this.... two pieces of folder stick together and then outside I put lots of popsicle  to imitate the wall outside of the house.....

After that I put some popsicle  sticks inside to create floors.... First  and second  floors are very colorful and fun....

And then, since I don't  have some furnitures so, I made some using papers, folder and crayon. Not really good in drawing  but it's  fine because it looks simple but precise.

Then I put the wall on the second floor to separate some rooms. The roof color is violet or purple as what they say. As you can notice, I used different  colours-hey it's  cool, right?

We're almost done here when I put the design outside... I created a stepping block and a big table outside the house. Of course, still made out of the popsicle  sticks and very colorful.

Now, the house is ready for occupancy  of little people... #lol

The following are the materials I used:
Illustration  board
Popsicle sticks
Bond paper
Construction  paper or color paper

So, folks have fun creating your own mini house for fun, for project in school, for a bonding moment with kids or if you can't  do anything and you're  tired with video games or anything... this one is a good replacement  and unique too!

Again, Happy Halloween  to everybody and be safe people :)

September Birthdays

Today is September  30, but before we welcome October let me summarize  all the birthday celebrations that we had for this month. First stop, Mark's  birthday and he is my nephew. We actually celebrated his birthday at Dad's restaurant, it's  an "eat all you can" restaurant with lots of food variety  from Filipino food to Japanese  food to Italian food. After that we also celebrated here in the house. I think it's already a tradition  to celebrate  also in the house because it's  more intimate  and sweet. Just like those old tradition in the Philippines, whenever  there's  a  family gathering or happenings we tend to do it in the house of a family or relatives so we can accommodate more people or at least  we want it to be more intimate  and very welcoming at the same time for each and every  member.

After Mark's  birthday we also had my brother's birthday and my dad. We actually celebrated it at the same time because we don't  have  much time on the weekdays. So when we had time to celebrate it we just made it as one celebration. It happened  last weekend and it was actually a successful get together and birthday celebration. And then, earlier my brother and my dad came here and we celebrated  again and we were so happy and ate a lot. Lol. It was a fun moment because my dad's  seems like very much okay and getting better despite  that he is having asthma for so long already. And every time  I'm  gonna invite him to come over  or go somewhere  he always gonna say  that he's  not  feeling well but today he's  all happy and strong. So, I'm  just glad thinking about it and thankful  to God, for the miracle.

So, the following  are the photos that I  compiled  for the whole month of September. Hope you guys love it and have a great day  everyone!

Maan and Mark enjoying food at Dad's restaurant

Plate of sea foods  galore plus lechon kawali, yummy!

Cake and ice cream sorbet, you're always  gonna find these on every birthday  for sure!

Love it!

And since I love sweets, I had this special plate of yummy treats and watermelon  juice, it was really a perfect  combination. Almost heaven, not! Lol.

Mark's  birthday  cake and spaghetti that's  signifies long live and happy life.

The birthday boy, he's  about to blow the candle on his cake.

Mark and Maan preparing to eat. Now, I'm  getting hungry, lol.

And then, my dad's  early birthday celebration and also my youngest brother late celebration  the one wearing white tsirt and carrying my red bag at Papa Johns.

It also served  as our mini family get together. We're  actually a big family,  so these people are just one half of the clan. Lol!

Anyway, I love the pizza there because it's  really tasty and meaty,  yummy!

Aww! I swear I love love it! Delicious  meal that we all enjoyed.

Yes, we love taking pictures  and selfies before eating. Beause we want to restore  memories like this one.

Here's  my dad earlier before we eat. I know he felt awkward  because he's  not getting used  to  picture taking and everything  but he still grant my request  to take his pic. Hehehe, I love my dad!

And the chocolate  birthday  cake, fettuccine  pasta with bacon bits and pancit with pork belly.  One small but sweet celebration for my dad and brother.

September  Birthdays  are done and yes another year older for them. I wish them all blessings in life and safety everyday.  To become strong and healthy,  God fearing  person, loving individual so that we can have unity and peace. I always love my family no matter what and being part of their lives is such a blessing for me. God, please guide them everyday and thank you for giving me a wonderful family. :)
